Action Plan – COVID 19 Virus

At this time I would prefer that clients not be present during the inspection. However, clients may still attend if they insist, but I am not encouraging it.  If clients are present, I will ask to have masks worn and keep social distancing.  Inside the home, I will ask that we all stay in different rooms so that I can conduct a quality inspection without concerns of close interactions.  If I find significant issues during the inspection, I will show the location and explain the issue to the client as I have in the past.  I will still answer all of my clients questions once we get outside.

While on-site, I will take the following steps to help maintain a sanitary environment in people’s homes:

  • Wash hands multiple times during every inspection, especially after touching things like faucets and door handles.

  • Bring hand towels or paper towels for drying hands.

  • I will keep hand sanitizer nearby and use it when needed.

  • Use disinfectant wipes or the equivalent on faucets and door handles.

  • I will not shake hands or bump fists.

  • I will avoid touching my face.

  • I will wear a mask when others are near and gloves during the indoor inspection.

With summer camps closing and kids being left home alone, it’s also important to note that my policy is, and always has been, that I will not enter a home with minors present unless a second adult is present.

Have me call you.

s an experienced Home Inspector, I can provide you critical information when purchasing or selling a home. Understanding the condition of the structure and all its components is extremely important. For a nominal fee, a professional home inspection by Twin Oaks Home Inspection will significantly reduce your risk and help make the entire home buying process easier and less stressful. As a Certified and Licensed Home Inspector, I really enjoy helping my clients in this process.

My home inspections are typically about 2 to 2 1/2 hours long depending on the size and condition of the house and you are welcome to follow along with me during the inspection to ask questions. At the completion of the inspection, I will review the findings with you and answer any further questions that you may have. A detailed computer report with color photos will be e-mailed to you later that same day. Click here for a video where I explain the entire home inspection process and what to expect.

Please take a few minutes and browse through my web site for additional information on my Inspector  Services  including; Home Inspection, Water testing and Radon testing. I have also included information on EnvironmentalIssues , product safety recalls, safety in the home, a unique  HomeOwnerTips  for the new home owner, a  DIY Resources   page for DIY web sites and many items that can help you in understanding the importance of an inspection before you purchase a home. I try to not only provide an inspection but also an education in home systems. In fact, I offer free home maintenance advice over the phone for 12 months after I inspect your home.

Throughout the home inspection I will explain to you;

  • What I see
  • What I don't see
  • What that means to you as the buyer

Armed with the information and details from my reports, you can make your decision with confidence and peace of mind. My qualifications and ASHIMembership information are summarized in the StaffProfiles  tab for your review.
